Teaching in India

No, I'm not moving to India right away, but this week, I felt like a missionary teacher to India. I was able to teach two days in a Kindergarten class, which was quite enjoyable. I got to see my old students in the hallways as they rushed to give me a big hug. Wow! That makes a teacher feel special. On Thursday afternoon though I had the opportunity to go to a new school that I had never been to before- Dave Kendal Elementary. As I entered my classroom I was greeted by hearty welcomes, "Hello, my name is Balbir." "Sorry, can you repeat that," I asked. Another student rushed towards me "Hi, My name is Jaskiran" with a huge smile lighting up the little boy's face. 20 ESL students from India surrounded me. The sea of brown little faces nearly brought tears to my eyes, as I felt the Father's heart for His children that He wants to reveal Himself to. At an assembly with the rest of the school I realized that about 90% of the students were Indo-Canadian. Wow! I don't need to go to any mission field. Jesus has brought them to me. Please pray for me that God will show His light (yeah, Denise you got it!) and glory to these priceless children that they might be a testimony to their parents.

My prayers are with you Kap and Kartar. India will see the power and love of God!

Hey Aims,
It is always very interesting to see what kind of class you will step into. It is always an adventure. But it is really cool that we can go and pray in those classes.
